If you’re looking to attract birds to your yard, one of the best steps you can take is to install a bird bath. But don’t just fill the bath and forget about it. Moving water is much more likely to attract birds than standing water, so be sure to add a pump or other accessory.

Here are a few products we found that may be useful to you.

Water Wiggler Water Agitator

The Water Wiggler creates continuous ripples in the water, attracting birds to it and discouraging mosquitos from laying eggs. Operating silently on two D batteries, it also casts a soft glow of rainbow colors in the dark.

The Avian Dripper from Birds Choice supplies fresh water to your bird bath. It hooks directly to your outdoor faucet and does not need electricity. | Check the price on Amazon!

Birds Choice Layered Rock Waterfall

Just place the rock waterfall in your bird bath, plug it in, and it will begin recirculating the water throughout the bath. Made of gray resin, the rock waterfall comes with a 120-GPH pump and can run in as little as 1-1/2” of water. | Check the price on Amazon!
