Description: This image depicts two affectionate Burrowing Owls. This photo was taken from a great distance in order not to disturb the birds; it was great fun to watch them interact with each other.
Gear and settings: Canon 1DX camera, and a Canon 500mm lens f/4 with a 1.4 extender. 700mm, f/8, 1/3200, ISO 800.
