We’re in the midst of raptor migration in North America, so we thought it would be useful to share photos of hawks, falcons, and other birds of prey in flight. Scroll through the gallery below to view images of raptors that you’re likely to see in fall, especially if you visit a hawk watch.
If you want to find a hawk watch near you, here’s a list of 18 sites, or take a look at hawkcount.org, which is operated by the Hawk Migration Association of North America. It offers counts of raptors updated daily at active hawk-watching sites.
