The Himalayan Griffon, or Himalayan Vulture, is the largest species in the Gyps genus. The birds average about 20 pounds and have a wingspan of 8.4-10.2 feet. Batsukh Galsan took this photo in the Eastern Gobi Desert in Mongolia.
