This Gray Catbird spent quite a bit of time on the feeder at my mother’s house in Weidman, MI while we there the other day. She passed away recently, but my brother continues to fill the feeders in honor of her love of birds. She used to spend hours watching them flit from the woods near the house to the feeders and back. I have read Gray Catbirds are usually quite shy, but this one seemed ok with me sitting on the porch not too far away. Taken with a Nikon D500 and a Nikon 200-500 lens.
