Orange Grove, Texas. The Greater Roadrunner nest was built in the fork of a Mesquite tree in our yard, so we have been able to watch the status of the little family. Just two days ago there was seven eggs. Today, most of the babies have hatched. We knew something had happened since both adult Roadrunners have been coming and going with bugs and things all morning. I don’t see how seven birds are going to fit the nest as the babies grow.
