This House Finch was plumping up for some buddies that were feeding at a nearby feeder.
Perch is attached to a post with flowers attached to the perch. A small space was intentionally left in the centre of the flowers to force the birds to land exactly where I wanted.
This staged image was shot with a Nikon D4 with 200-400mm lens.
