This Ruby-throated Hummingbird was taking a break and I took advantage of this unusual pose. We have a few hummingbirds in our yard thanks to the bee/hummingbird friendly flowers that we plant. The location is Scarborough (Toronto) Ontario. The camera is a Canon T3i. The photo was taken in August 2013.
