Portrait detail of a Sharp-shinned Hawk in SW Calgary, AB, Canada. The hawk was blatantly perched by a bird feeder in the low morning light, presumably waiting for the first unwitting visitor to the feeder. Photographed on 4 December 2021 with a Nikon D7200 and Sigma 100-400mm lens.
