This is a better cropped photo of the Little Egret, that has been prest for couple of weeks now in, or near the marsh across the road from Kalmus Beach parking lot, in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Bird has been with on occasion some great egrets, and great blue heron. Actively feeding, it frequently is flying about giving good looks at the legs, and facial marking & bill.
I used a Canon 50 D camera, shutter priority @ 1/1250 sec., with a Canon 400mm, 5.6 lense, non IS…..
Drew Whelan and myself drove up from Rhode Island, and were definitely rewarded with great looks.
