This continuing N. Lapwing (3+ wks.) was photographed in Bridgewater, Mass. in the correctional center’s cornfields on Summer St., usually feeding in the NE corner field, and being very visible. There are also two N. Lapwing present on Nantucket Island off the Massachusetts coast.
I used a Canon 50 D, with a Canon 400mm, 5.6 lense, tripod mounted, shooting in the program mode., ISO 640. Photos bracketed.
