Location: Fraser River Valley, near Vancouver, British Columbia
The area of the Fraser River Valley claims to have the largest gathering of bald eagles in the world. In November and December it’s estimated that as many as 10,000 bald eagles will be in the area where they feed on salmon carcasses. This bird was photographed as it lifted off from a salmon carcass.
