Blackpoll Warbler

Migration is in full swing, finally, here in Chicago.  This morning I went to a famous birding location, Montrose, which lays on the lakefront of Chicago.  There were lots of birds, lots of birders and the Crabapple and Hawthorn trees were in beautiful bloom.  What an opportunity.  Here is a male Blackpoll, a species I don’t often get to see, posing in a blooming tree.  I thought it made a pretty photo.
