The Northern Saw-whet Owl is unbelievably small for an owl. It took seeing one with my own eyes to understand how small they were. This one we drove an hour to see and searched an area for around 30 minutes before stumbling across it sun bathing on a branch and having a nap. It had no care in the world about us. Peoria, IL.
