I saw this Pileated Woodpecker once at Toogood Pond in Unionville, Ontario, but unfortunately someone came up behind me and frightened it off.
I went back numerous times again and finally one day after a few hours walking, I saw it and managed to get some photos, before once again a jogger came along and frightened it off.
Taken with a Canon T2i 4.5-5.6 100-400mm telephoto lens.
