Juvenile Snail Kite perched on dock at Joe Overstreet boat ramp in Kenansville, FL. Drove and hour and a half to see him and he did not disappoint! I was surprised how close people were able to get before he flew off. The lake there is rich with apple snails, a favorite of his. Taken with a Nikon D5000, Sigma 150-500mm lens.
