This image was taken a month ago today in Beaverhead County, Montana. The adult Swainson’s Hawk had lifted off from a fence post and flew in front of me. Nikon D300, f6.3, 1/800, ISO 500, Nikkor 200-400mm VR with 1.4x TC, not baited
