A small flock of these have been wandering around my neighborhood here in Covington, Louisiana, the last couple of days, wading in the drainage ditches, feeding off crawfish and frogs. I shot this one with a Kodak Z712 IS with Variogon 36mm – 432mm AF 12X Optical zoom, which is a basic point and shoot I bought at Best Buy about four years ago. Going to have to get a better camera one of these days…
